Way back in 2010, when I was a junior HR with an organisation in Delhi, I connected with someone for a leadership role. But eventually we hired someone else.

However, after 11 years I received an email from him, saying he remembered me and thought to write to me after all these years just to say "Hi" and also he described the warmth & hospitality he received that time...

Hope, some good deeds... and this is the pay-off being honest to intent.
