DHEERA

I came cross this word few days ago when my old college named their fest for women as "Dheera".

Normally this word reminds us of a man, a soldier or a warrior. I was wondering why they would name a fest for women as Dheera.

And then it hit me. Every woman is a warrior in one way or another. 

Women these days are so strong and so empowered, independent and powerful. If we go back a few decades, women were strong enough to stay home every day and do the same work over and over again to support the family. (Let's not forget how crazy we all got during quarantine)

She fights the world every day to beat the external patriarchy and she fights everyday with herself to get rid of the patriarchy she has been brought up with. 

Every WOMAN is a WARRIOR. She is Courageous. She is Strength.

She is DHEERA.
