Job description

We are looking to bring on board a Senior People & Culture Manager who could advise and assist us with all aspects of HR and People & Culture operations. This role would also have administration responsibilities in running an efficient office in India report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Live by and foster Digi Consult values across the company.
  • Develop the People & Culture strategy from scratch working closely with Digi Consult executives and external service providers.
  • Responsible for all aspects of People and Culture, act as the internal advisor and able to have a hands-on approach to work.
  • Manage full life-cycle onboarding to exit processes, ensuring confidentiality, maintaining employee personal files, issuance of letters and managing background verification process.
  • Develop and maintain employee retention, compensation, performance, training and health and safety policies and processes.
  • Lead the employer branding efforts working with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to establish and enforce HR standards and best practices across Digi Consult.
  • Work with third-party providers to execute HR strategy successfully and ensure the desired outcomes are achieved.
  • In-depth and current understanding of the state and national labour laws and HR industry best practices ensuring compliance.
  • Ability to use HR data intelligence to inform and shape strategic planning.
  • Provide periodic reports to the executive leadership team.
  • Be the company representative on all matters HR/P&C at external meetings/venues.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day administrative activities related to running an efficient office in India, supporting the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years demonstrable experience within HR/P&C of which 5+ years in the Technology Sector and 3-5 years as a Manager.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Labour Relations.
  • Microsoft office suite, email, web and HR software tools proficiency.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and perform the duties of the role with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal/written) skills and a creative problem solver.
  • Thorough understanding of the state employment legislation including and not limited to employee benefits and payroll.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, presentation and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to create and retain a culture of engagement, collaboration and camaraderie.
  • Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally, inter-state and internationally at short notice to meet internal and external parties.
