Job Description: 
A. Key Purpose 

  • To manage the HRIS, (SuccessFactors and other related systems) both from process and system prospective, to digitize the end to end processes in HR function

B. Key Result Areas

  • Review the usage of systems with all HC teams globally, and takes corrective actions for the hindrances coming in the way of usage of the system.
  • To Train HC team members on operating the HRIS, all modules of SuccessFactors (recruitment, onboarding, input of data, capturing events in the employment such as transfers, promotions, job rotations etc. in employee central, PMGM, Talent Management, LMS, off-boarding)
  • Take preventive and corrective actions based on the complaints of the end users including technical improvements in the system.
  • Continuously scan the latest development in SuccessFactors and the benchmarking practices and implement them at Organisation.
  • Manage administrative work related to operations and maintenance of the system through Governance meeting and liaison with technical support partner.

C. Key Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Works with various departments as subject matter expert for Human Resource (HR) business applications and systems.
  • Recommends process improvements, deploy solutions, and develop user procedures, documentation, data analytics and reporting.
  • Develops implements and modifies system requirements.
  • Serve as in-house specialist and super-user for the HR system who troubleshoots HRIS issues and provide user support as needed. Works with external vendors to resolve system related issues.
  • Maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. 
  • Acts as lead project manager for HRIS system projects. Assembling project team and assigns individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project.
  • Focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure key decisions and status surrounding projects is clear to all.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoff, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
  • Conduct gap analysis (Current state-Future state), create detailed designs, create testing scenarios, and outline implementation strategies as needed for change requests and system enhancement requests from customers. 

D. Person Specification

  • People Perspective:  Communicates well, understands user requirements well and trains well. Has a passion to help others and solves their problems, Excellence in user experience's tenacious, action biased and has a drive for results with speed of action.
  • Technical Perspective:  Understand the architecture of the system and able to envisage impact of changes made in one module on the other modules. Is able to evaluate various options and select best options available considering the impact. Is able to diagnose the technical problem when people raise queries.
  • Overall: Is able to demonstrate ROI on HRIS and completely digitize all HR processes from hire to retire.

E. Internal Relationships

  • Regional HR Heads, HR Process owners, Unit HR Teams, Leadership team, IT team.

F. External Relationships

  • SuccessFactors Implementation Consultants, SAP Customer Support

G. Key Skills/Experience Required

MBA in Human Resources. IT background preferred.
•    8-10 years of experience in managing an HRIS system, with knowledge of SuccessFactors, and in a global organization with multiple languages and time zones. 5-6 years of experience in report writing, querying and data analysis – ideally with Business Intelligence technology. Have a sound understanding of HR processes and data; HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes.

MBA in Human Resources. IT background preferred.
•    8-10 years of experience in managing an HRIS system, with knowledge of SuccessFactors, and in a global organization with multiple languages and time zones. 5-6 years of experience in report writing, querying and data analysis – ideally with Business Intelligence technology. Have a sound understanding of HR processes and data; HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes.
