Position Purpose

The e-Learning specialist should be able to manages project teams , utilizing specialized vendors and liaising with internal and external SMEs at Wagons Learning to design and deliver learning solutions that meet or exceed CSAT, quality and cost targets. The solutions employ adult learning theory, appropriate didactic methods, experiential learning and digital technology. This role will project manage the process from end to end including full financial responsibility, vendor performance management, project team coaching, solution delivery and appropriate evaluation methodology to ensure value to the Customer and Wagons.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Identify the project scope, objectives, and effort Evaluate an ID strategy for design projects Create course outlines and design documents based on client requirements
  • Work with SMEs and stakeholders to facilitate approvals and gain alignment on content direction, design and details.
  • Develop content and storyboard for ILT and WBT/ eLearning courses based on the design documents Incorporate multimedia assets that include or is a combination of audio, video, graphics, text functionalities and interactivities
  • Develop interesting assessment quizzes to test the learning objectives Demonstrate effective course development, review, and evaluation skills.
  • Should be able to work on WBTs, Gamification, ILTs, and Micro learning (whiteboard & 2D animation) Should be able to set Instructional Design strategy and review deliverables to meet the quality standards
  • The person should also provide adequate reasoning to help and mentor I train a group of Instructional Designers.
  • Lead all phases of instructional design and development. Work with the development team and share feedback on all build versions until Gold, See through end-to-end development of a course/project SKILLS, and ensuring project team output meets or exceeds assigned targets.
  • Responsible for project level customer relationship management for BFSI, IT/ITES, Pharma, Automotive customers
  • Responsible for leading and coaching the project team on best practice, understanding of client level requirements and expectations and identification of internal collaboration opportunities to meet organizational objectives
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering the best customer experience, quality of products and value to ensure highest recommendations and re-turn business, giving complete support to Business Development Team. Front-ending the e-learning projects for client management wherever required.
  • Follows a defined process to liaise with pre-identified customers to facilitate the development and deployment of sound e-learning solutions based on various treatments according to Blooms Taxonomy.
  • An impeccable command over written and spoken English Familiarity with multiple instructional design approaches well- versed with approaches such as storytelling, conversational, scenario-led, as well as narrative.
  • Have a good eye for UX/UI design and detailing. Excellent attention to detail knowledge of various virtual classroom applications, graphic tools and other web authoring software A key component - an exceptional ability to cultivate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to handle objection and problems presented by clients and convert them into solutions. Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multitask, identify issues, and prioritize to deadlines Be organized and methodical, and must possess the ability to manage high pressure situations

Displays excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills to engage clients for on-going and new business.

  • Applies solid instructional design methodology, including adult learning theory, interactive activities to ensure e-learning deliverables are meeting the treatment expected by the client.
  • Responsible for vendor management including selection from an approved list and manages the chosen /onboard new vendors to ensure appropriate use of resources to design and/or deliver e-learning projects.
  • Applies project management principles, processes, and tools to ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects and clear communication with all involved internal & external stakeholders
  • Oversees localization and translation of deliverables, if required.
  • Sound knowledge of Instructional Designing methodologies.
  • Sound Knowledge of adult education theory and practice
  • Build and develop strong sustainable relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively with them to achieve common goals and share knowledge and best practice.

Key Performance Indicator(s) :

Financial targets are met CSAT targets are met recognized as a valued partner by the customer and a strong project lead by the project team, e-Learning Solutions are implemented on time and as agreed with stakeholders and measured by feedback on implementation according to the agreed metrics. Evaluation to agreed level is implemented and indicates effective project implementation.

Minimum requirements:

  • Learning and Business related degrees of which one should be to Masters level.
  • Project Management qualification.
  • Instructional design knowledge essential to lead the team of Instructional designers.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects with stretch targets and tight timelines within a project based or matrix organization.
  • 8+ years of experience in eLearning with at least 4 years in Project Management including vendor and contractor management
  • Sound understanding of LMS features
  • Working knowledge of different treatments for e-learning outputs (Level 1-3 SCORM, Video output, Gamification etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Authoring tools like Articulate storyline, articulate 360, Vyond, Captivate, Illustrator to lead the designing & development team.
  • Minimum 5 Years working in a customer facing role, ideally with an agency providing e-learning services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree I Post Graduate Degree
  • Certification in Instructional Designing preferred

Note: Immediate joiner will be preferred or with maximum notice period of one month.
