Roles and Responsibilities

The incumbent shall be responsible for manufacturing units to plan and execute HR Policies, Procedures and Systems, Business HR and Local Management. Facilitate & provide support for harmonious Employee Relations, ensure compliance to the applicable statutes, implementation of OD initiatives, liaise with all stakeholders to protect the interest of organization, administer controls with respect general administration and CSR programs etc.

  • Drive a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Build talent and leadership for today and tomorrow by Setting up systems and processes to institutionalize the processes of Key Talent Identification, Individual Development Plans, Career Planning, Succession Planning
  • Create a culture of efficiency, productivity and delivery
  • Build Capability and Competency by guiding and overseeing the training effectiveness and to create performance oriented culture, learning organization
  • Guide, oversee and ensure implementation of all HR and Admin Policies, programmes, initiate & institutionalize all HR systems, Procedures & approaches as per Business HR/Group HR guidelines.
  • Facilitate institutionalization of HR Systems.
  • Plan and Oversee Employee relations which will facilitate employees to develop participative culture & involve and contribute in achieving Units performance, change in mindset, build trust and openness and spirit of collaboration and team work
  • Maintain industrial harmony by ensuring industrial relations services by negotiating with unions and providing guidance to line management.
  • Ensure & guide programmes for social, community and rural development activities in surrounding communities
  • Plan, administer and ensure implementation of schemes/ activities for the safety, security & welfare of employees and their families in Plant locations

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA(HR) with 20 to 25 years of experience from large manufacturing company.
  • Should have Corporate as well as Plant experience
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
