Essential Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required. Essential Knowledge, Skills: Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and Compliance with Govt. Regulations including thorough knowledge and application of MW,PF,ESI,WCA,S&E, LWF,PT, etc., Updated on new changes, amendments and developments in Govt. Regulations which impacts Payroll Knowledge & application of Payroll Process- entry to exit Basic Accounting skills Leadership skills to Build, Supervise and Direct an effective, vibrant, energetic and a cohesive HR team Establish Gravitas in the HR Team and in the Organization for him/herself in a short period of time Risk assessment, Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making - payroll processes Proficient with payroll software . Desirable Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years in Payroll processing, for PAN India operations for at least 4000 employees Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in PAN India labor law compliance Experience in customized ERP HRMS systems Experience in handling HR teams of reasonable sizes Desirable Knowledge ,Skills: Multi Lingual (working knowledge of Hindi preferred) , Proficiency in MS Products especially Excel Go getter, who needs little supervision Ability to Manage, Monitor & Motivate teams Key Result Areas Quantitative deliverables: 1.On time & Error free Payroll processing HR Process: On Boarding Issue of Appointment/Deputation letters Issue of Renewal letters Accuracy and timely update of changes in payroll system such as new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc. Payroll Process: Establish payroll process (Policy and Procedure), review and update as required with approval from Management Ensure payroll data and records are maintained as per statutory requirements Schedule for monthly payroll activities with timeline to ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner to meet the agreed deadline Ensure compliance with approval requirements - from respective clients On time receipt of inputs Client employees: Salary structure and its update is as per client requirements with agreed approval compliance HO Employees: Salary structure / updates as per approval documents with appropriate approval compliance Validation of inputs Processing Process Incentives for HR In payroll systems ensures timely update of MW,PF,ESI,WCA,S&E, LWF,PT, Validation of output before it goes for pay sheets Uploading pay sheets to Finance/Bank HOLD/Release of Salaries/Reversals & Recredits Timely payment of statutory deductions to Govt. authorities . 2.No infringements on Statutory Compliances: Filing of monthly returns Maintenance of Registers Renewals of Licenses Custodian of physical records 3.Timely Full & Final settlement : Fulfillment of Recoveries/Dues from & to employees Payment of Gratuities 4.Increasing Internal Customer Satisfaction Index : Conduct Annual Surveys- Action Plans- Implementation- Increase by 5 basis points every year Qualitative: 1.Increasing employee capabilities: Self-Learner. Continuous training of team members and testing of skills on a monthly basis.
