Job description

Designation HR Executive - Payroll

Location Piplod, Surat

Salary Upto 30K (Depends upon Current Salary, Experience and Knowledge)

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

  • Accurately and efficiently process payroll for all employees, including computing wages, salaries, deductions, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leaves, and overtime to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations pertaining to payroll practices.
  • Preparing compliance challan for payment
  • Facilitate the smooth on-boarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork, orientation, and training are completed. Similarly, manage the off-boarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and necessary paperwork.
  • Release Letters such as Offer, Appointment, Increment, Absconding, Notices and etc.
  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions, ensuring accurate deductions and timely remittances.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date in the payroll system. Generate relevant reports and provide insights to management when required.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct periodic payroll audits to identify and rectify discrepancies or errors, maintaining the highest level of data accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and streamline payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Recommend and implement improvements to the payroll system or software.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data and ensure secure storage and access to sensitive information.
 

Requirements-

  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel and formulas
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Executive or similar role, with a strong track record of accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Knowledge and experience of preparing compliance challan for payment
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and labour laws.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity and ethics, ensuring confidentiality and data security at all times.
