    Key Accountabilities:

    • To demonstrate experience and competence working in a partnership capacity with business stakeholders, the Global HRBP for Business Unit and other functional HR leads to influence and achieve business strategic priorities.
    • To proactively provide guidance & support on all aspects of people management to maximize individual performance.
    • To ensure India Business Partner activity reflects the Business Unit HR Strategy as defined by the Global HRBP and that it is consistent in its application with the activity of other regional HR Managers for Business Unit.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant for senior managers to improve team effectiveness, strategic insight, and business performance.
    • Provides strong leadership and direction on key functional areas including Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent, Organization Design, and Organizational Effectiveness.
    • Partners with specialist groups (e.g., Recruitment, Talent, Reward, HR operations, Employee Relations, Global Mobility) to develop, deliver and promote initiatives that match business needs and the strategic direction set at Enterprise TR level.
    • To work with business stakeholders on Recruitment - attending staff group meetings to discuss and agree filling of vacancies and salary levels. using the GRF framework.
    • Implement the TR talent process within India
    • To actively contribute and work with the Business Unit HR team to identify improvements in working and implement changes to create smoother functioning processes.
    • To manage International Assignees (IA’s), international transfers, localizations, and repatriations in accordance with the set procedures.
    • Performance Management: working with managers particularly at mid-year and year end to prepare and facilitate the Performance Assessment Workshop (PAW) sessions.
    • Partnership with business units on Annual Compensation Planning process
    • Partner with managers in driving culture change and enhancing organizational effectiveness and change management initiatives; driving employee engagement; and supporting the managers in nurturing a culture of diversity and inclusion.
    • Coordinate with HR Operations who support Business Unit to ensure consistent, coherent HR delivery across the unit and ensure that activities are tied to business strategy and plans.


    Skills/Experience:

    • Ability to effectively work with Global Stakeholder and Local leaders
    • Ability to work effectively with HR sub functions and manage end to end of all operational and strategic activities and initiatives
    • Business Acumen with knowledge on commercials and business process Exposure to and experience of working in global and complex matrix organizations
    • In depth understanding of complex HR concepts across the Industry and market. Ability to build and execute framework on various HR related concepts backed by the ability to sell and execute HR solutions to Business
    • Understands the client groups high level objectives, makes recommendations, builds a plan and proactively brings forward solutions that may shape operational strategy
    • Deep knowledge of a broad range of HR policies
    • A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
    • Postgraduate in Human Resources (MSW or MBA in HR) preferable
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel essential
    • Ability to represent HR team in BU leadership forum
    • Preferably having 8+ years of experience HRBP/generalist

    Profile

    - 10+ years of experience, predominantly in a manufacturing set up

    - Experience across all aspects of Human Resource Operations, Strategic Planning & Leadership; acknowledged for establishing and strengthening HR systems and processes

    - Excellence in managing HR Operations; providing advisory and consultancy on processes, programs & projects, developing & streamlining HR processes, enhancing operational effectiveness through transformation, automation and improvement initiatives

    - Hands on in designing and executing strategic HR interventions

    - Robust stakeholder management skills, with experience in working in an ambiguous environment

    - Prior experience in managing a plant set up, with exposure to Industrial Relations as well

    Responsibilities
    Provide direct HR support to the Service line/Business leaders throughout the employee lifecycle, including:

     

    • Support integration of new hires, including pre-onboarding tasks and new hire orientation, which includes a remote workforce with a high executive population.
    • Implement and drive HR standard methodologies that seek to increase Employee Engagement and retention, utilizing technology to include virtual team members. Example: meetings and forums for employees to interact with leadership (townhalls, skips, pulses), Rewards & Recognition programs, drive Early Warning System (EWS) coverage and efficiency, etc.
    • Serve as a link between employees and larger organization by answering questions and resolving problems.
    • Workforce forecasting and planning with leadership.
    • Coordination with Finance teams on planning and financial updates
    • Act as a liaison between employees and multiple specialist support groups such as Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, Immigration, Legal, IT, and HR Shared Services; to ensure compliance on all people processes, timely administration, and a seamless employee experience.
    • Coordinate Performance Management processes including Performance Management, iPerform, Scorecards, Calibration, Competencies, and Promotion Nominations
    • Compensation planning for North America, including bonus calculations, annual increments, and promotion increases.
    • Exit process administration including exit interviews and off-boarding.
    • Maintain and report data from people processes such as employee attrition, immigration, and headcount.
    • Advise managers/leadership on employee matters such as performance, disciplinary action, and terminations, seeking legal advice when needed.
    • Manage contractor process including onboarding, contract support, overseeing background checks, and ensuring payments are made.
    • Manage immigration process for visa sponsorships, work permits, and green cards.
    • Coordinate internal transfers.
    • Follows up and escalates issues on behalf of employees.
    • Ensures necessary changes are updated in Finance and HR systems
    • Responds to inquiries from various Genpact teams.
    • Special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.

    Qualifications we seek in you!
    Minimum qualifications
     

    • HR business partner experience required.
    • Bachelor’s degree

    Preferred qualifications
     

    • Demonstrated business partner experience required along with experience in talent management, workforce planning, acquisitions, increment planning, performance management, onboarding, engagement, and other common HR deliverables.
    • Executive presence, organized, self- motived, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication required along with solid understanding of company initiatives.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment where expectations are very high, attention to detail is must, and often the need to deal with ambiguity.
