As a Learning Experience Architect, you will be expected to address unique business challenges faced by customers through the training programs you design and lead. You will transform learning experiences by using innovative designs and methodologies. You should have the ability to lead meetings, facilitate design sessions, and present innovative solutions to all involved stakeholders. A learning architects role is crucial for the successful execution of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customers business issues and implicit and explicit needs.
  • Determine the scope of a curriculum/course in terms of measurable learning goals within the framework of client requirements.
  • Design blended learning curricula based on specific business challenges.
  • Suggest appropriate instructional strategies to meet learning goals.
  • Define standards and envision elements that need to be a part of supporting documentation (stylesheet, wordlist, etc.) to ensure consistency across a curriculum.
  • Participate in client calls / meetings with clear agenda / queries to help manage client requirements (along with the PM).
  • Provide accurate estimates for development effort to supervisor.
  • Mentor and manage a team of instructional designers by reviewing their work and providing feedback.
  • Be on the top of market trends and developments in learning industry.

Job Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Any Bachelors degree
  • 10-15 years experience in instructional design, preferably for corporate clients.
  • Hands-on experience in reviewing storyboards, analyzing customer needs and creating learning solutions d
  • Ability to write content that is clear, concise, and grammatically correct by using appropriate standards and writing styles.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of learning development tools:
    • Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Studio
    • Adobe e-Learning Suite Programs (Captivate, Photoshop, Flash,)
    • MS Office (Word, Power-Point, Excel)
    • Camtasia, Storyline, Snagit
    • Exposure to learning technologies and platforms LMS, collaborative learning platforms etc.

Preferred:

  • Experience in designing and developing high-end learning products such as business simulations, games, and videos.
  • Experience in conducting training needs analysis (TNA).
  • Software Proficiency
    • Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Studio
    • Adobe e-Learning Suite Programs (Captivate, Photoshop, Flash,)
    • MS Office (Word, Power-Point, Excel)
