Job Description -
Responsible for processing multi state payrolls on a weekly basis to include time & attendance data from timekeeping system, auditing, reconciling, and submitting payments to third party vendor ADP
Process employee data - new hires, changes, supplemental wages, benefits, garnishments, etc.
Processing new hire paperwork, including signing employment contracts and conducting background checks
Reviewing payroll reports to ensure they are accurate and timely
Assisting in managing leave of absence requests, including administering leave accruals and processing payments during leaves of absence
Providing support to managers by answering questions regarding federal and state labor laws
Processing payroll for all employees in the company, including hourly workers and salaried executives
Calculating and administering payroll taxes (income tax withholdings, Social Security, Medicare, etc.)
Preparing reports detailing payroll activity for each employee
Preparing reports detailing payroll activity for each department or division within the company
Processing and tracking employees’ requests for time off from work, including overtime requests and other scheduling changes

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The purpose of this role is to provide second level expert services for employees, managers and HR community in APAC in the area of Payroll processes and act as a subject matter expert for these services.
Responsible for the country payroll processes and ensure the accuracy and timeliness. To ensure that SLAs are consistently met and high customer satisfaction. Look after answering complex queries and transactions, which could not be solved by Hire-to-Retire team, as Tier 2.
Lead and support for the transition period of project implementation (eg. payroll vendor change, payroll migration project, etc)
Lead/ Chip in to projects in scope for Payroll Team to standardize across the countries. Ensure compliance in line with Data Privacy and Protection guidelines and other relevant legislation.
Act as subject matter expert for Payroll processes and provide support for the transition period of project implementation (eg. payroll vendor change, payroll migration project, etc).
Deliver training to Payroll Specialist in order to increase their first contact resolution rate. Raise requests that cannot be resolved directly to the appropriate experts e.g Tier 3.
Maintain and sustain the Knowledge Base and How2HR for countries in scope. To provide mentoring or training for onboarding purpose and perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager
